Some of you know that on Mondays, my job is to sit up front at the receptionist desk all day and answer phones for the various companies that rent space from us. Some of you also know that I hate doing this job more than any other part of my job, and here is one reason why.

Idiot: Uhmm.... I.. Uh... Would, uhm, like to... Uhhhhhhhhh....... Talk to, uh, someone.. Uhm.......... About, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
Me: (screaming in my head) What? What the fuck do you want? Jesus Fucking H. Christ, spit it out already, you idiot

How do people call someone up and not know what they want? And if they know they are not mentally able to come up with "I would like to speak to a lawyer," on the fly, why donapos;t they practice a few times beforehand? Christ

Thereapos;s also this that gets on my nerves, mostly because I donapos;t understand it.

Idiot: Yes, Iapos;d like to speak to a lawyer.

"How may I direct your call?" is not a yes or no question Why does everyone do this?
